My LiveJournal: [link] My StoryBlog: [link] My name is Whitney Michele Ratliff and yes Michele is spelled like the boy spelling of Michele pronounced MICHAEL, which is my favorite boy's name. xD Lol I am 21-years-old currently and my birthday is in February. I tend to see the number 2:21 on the clock every time I look at it randomly, and I have to say, it's a curse! I am a Pisces and a Dragon which tells alot about me. I am stubborn like a Dragon, and sweet, calm, shy, and quiet like a Pisces. My element is water, my planets are Neptune and Jupiter, and my gemstone is Amethyst which is a very pretty gem. I am happy to be born in February! Right now after currently getting my hair cut, I look like Silk Spectra from Watchmen, but I did not plan on it, it just happened! However, it's the most perfect and cutest hairstyle I have had! I blow dry it every day to keep it looking nice, and I'm a towel-dry kind of girl! I love cute things, soft and fuzzy things, peace and hippies, rainbows, stars, mythical beings, animals, gay rights, yaoi/yuri, RPs, friends, freedom, equality, liberties, love, 80's music, techno music and even cartoons. However, I am mostly on the computer 24/7 or as much as I can, so TV is irrelevant to me at times. I do not like country or rap, but I rap better than I can see. I have a great memory for remembering rap songs, especially Ultimate Showdown. I know the first verse by heart. I do not like war, misuse of guns, harm to any living creature, death, anything that causes death, the thought of aging, discrimination, misjudging others, stereotypes, racism, slow drivers in front of me, arguments, yelling, liars, deception, going back on a promise, or treating others unfairly. I have been an artist since I was 4. I drew the most amazing horse in the world of what I thought at the time, and the poor thing got thrown away. My art was weak at first like everyone is and I used Disney Lion King styles first, then my own anime style when I was 13 based off of Dragon Ball Z. I started off with colored pencils but considering I wasn't that good, I always had my bestest friend color them for me since she was better at it. It was a collab life between us in those days. I then worked with markers and never really progressed or was able to blend colors well, so I moved back to colored pencils and somehow I was a natural at it. I do dabble sometimes in digital but it's more time consuming and tiresome so I don't bother with it as much. I'm quite shy and quiet at first. I always have my barrier up when meeting new people and I do my best not to let them in too fast for trust reasons. However, when we find something in common we can really cling to together with, I open up quickly and can become myself more when with them. I am a really outgoing person, who speaks her mind but holds back in case what I say becomes too offensive to others. I do not like to hurt people or harm them in anyway, so I am careful with what I do and say when around them. I am very humorous and punny with people, but sometimes it's just subconscious and I can't help it. I love to make others laugh and to see them smile. When they are in bad moods, I don't know how to comfort them or pick my words carefully to cheer them up, but I do try to cheer them up one way or another depending on the problem. I love drawing and being lazy. I am a very laid back person but when I'm bored or restless, I love to go out and do something! Mostly to movies and to the mall. I love comedy movies the most, Disney second, action third, and the rest of the genre's afterwards. I do not enjoy horror because I tend to get paranoid after watching a movie like that, but during the movie I am tough and show very little emotion and try to act bored and unamused to put up a tough front. I do jump at times, but other than that, I am mostly never scared or never showing it! I don't socialize well in public and I'm claustrophobic when it comes to crowds or a group of people surrounding me that I do not know. Even though I am 21, I don't have much urge, willpower, or determination to really drink alcohol. Actually, I am not that interested in alcohol but I would love to drink at home where I am safe and able to drink freely. I will not buy alcohol for minors for any reason. A sip maybe, but never a full beverage. I don't approve really of smoking. I won't take away someone's right to smoke and even though my mom smokes I won't make a fuss about it and I'll hide the fact that I don't like the smell, but I myself would never smoke and I think it's very unpopular and ugly looking for young people under 35 to smoke. I don't see the point. Same goes for make-up, I think it is more hazardous to your skin then they tell you it is. I would never get tattoos or piercings because I don't have a need for them, plus jewelry makes me itch. However, I love tattoo art, I love looking at it. |
